Lindsay K. Flood of Lakemoor, IL passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL. Lindsay was born September 9, 1948 in Ithaca, NY. She was the daughter of the late Robert S. and Mary C. Coleman of Trumansburg, NY. She was a longtime resident of Trumansburg prior to moving to Illinois in 1999. She was a member of Charles O. Dickerson High School's graduating class of 1966. Lindsay was a loving and dedicated mother, devoted wife, and grandmother. Lindsay had worked as a loan officer at the Trumansburg branch of the Tompkins County Trust Company for almost 2 decades before being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Lindsay is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert W. Flood and her 4 sons; Christopher (Michelle) of Rochester, Jeffrey of Cicero, Steven (JoAnn) of Brooklyn, and Robert M. (Janette) of Cicero. Lindsay has 7 grandchildren. Also surviving are Lindsay's siblings; David Coleman of Dryden, Lisa Cook (Lester) of Trumansburg and Douglas Coleman (Barbara) of Trumansburg. Lindsay will be laid to rest at Grove Cemetery in Trumansburg, NY at the convenience of her family. A celebration of Lindsay's life will be held at a later date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Lindsay K. Flood may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation
