I graduated with Del and played football and basketball with him. He was always very quiet and reserved as a person. I was quite different and yet we always got along together. I remember seeing him at a football coaches clinic in Binghamton. I invited him to stay with my wife and me since we lived in Binghamton. We really enjoyed that clinic, sharing thoughts and ideas. I was shocked by his death at such an early age. Gone way too soon for such a wonderful person.

Del was one of the best coaches that walked the fields/halls of TCS. Loved working with children and they loved him. He's dearly missed.

I also have fond memories of Del, who was kind and generous towards those of us who did not have athletic talent.
