Started his career at Kresge as a stock-boy in 1938 & worked his way up to District Mgr. of K-Mart in the Pittsburgh area in 1978 & retired in 1981. WWII, served in U.S. Army 518th anti-aircraft artillery battalion & present for the invasion of Luzon. Received Honorable discharge with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was also a 32nd degree Mason. He always looked forward for the Alumni reunions to see his classmates.
