To the class of 1966. We have a 60th reunion this year and I would like to get as many responses as possible. It would be fun to gather and talk about old times and new. We can even invite other friends from different classes to join us.
In order to plan an event, we need some possible dates. I am thinking in June or mid to late July. Many of our classmates are not active on this site, if you have contact with them, please tell them and get information for them
Am also sending out messages on FB Friends Who Went to Trumansburg Graduating Class of 1966 Reunion Gathering.
In order to avoid hotel issues, I have checked with Ithaca to see if we might have any conflicts. Trumansburg Grass Roots is the 16th-19th of July. We need to keep that in mind. There are a few things in Ithaca in June but didn't see firm dates.
If anyone knows of any conflicts, please let me know.

Trumansburg, NY — December 1, 2025 — We are thrilled to share exciting news: TCS Alumni LTD. is now officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization!
This milestone marks a new chapter in our mission to promote a robust alumni community of the Trumansburg Central School District by connecting classmates with their alma mater. Becoming a nonprofit allows us to expand volunteerism for the benefit of our community, strengthen relationships with those from the past and present, mentor our future alum, and ensure that every dollar we receive directly supports this commitment. This could not have happened without the many volunteers who originally started the association, and those who worked each year to keep the legacy going.
"This is more than a legal status — it’s a promise to our community that our alumni are valued and that their legacy should continue into perpetuity," said Melanie Cole '83. "We are committed to making positive impacts for our alumni and have tapped a multi-generational board of officers to do so."
We invite our friends, supporters, and neighbors to join us in celebrating this achievement. Whether through volunteering, or simply spreading the word, your support will help us make an even greater difference.

We maintain historical records from 1917-2025. The all-volunteer association has been a labor of love, providing news, announcements, and the All-School Reunion. We look forward to providing many more opportunities for the alumni. Watch for more information to come!

TCS Yearbooks are an invaluable resource for the Alumni Association, class reunion organizers, and the general public. Please be on the lookout for these missing books. Keep an eagle eye at garage sales, on Marketplace and sites such as EBAY! If you find one, please donate to the library; if you find two please share one with the Historical Society!

DECEMBER 2025 - National Make-A-Will and Planned Giving Month is August annually
Planned giving is an area of fundraising we have not pursued in the past. Please consider TCS Alumni LTD. in your planning. The Association has fixed costs just to exist: domain fees, bank fees, server costs and advanced deposits to name a few. A single all-school reunion budget costs upwards of $20,000 including permits, insurance, fireworks, flyers, postage, banners etc. With a well funded treasury, we can continue the beloved All-School Reunions, as well as begin to expand into other areas of support to TCS Alumni. Stay tuned on how to donate - a link will be provided once our 501(c)(3) final IRS letter is received.

Traditionally, the All-School Reunion is held every four years most recently 2012 and 2016. Due to Covid we postponed the 2020 reunion to August 2022, and consequently did not host one in 2024.
At this time, we will not be hosting an All-School Reunion in 2026. America is celebrating The United States Semiquincentennial celebration, the 250th Anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence! Celebrations will be held throughout communities during the entire year, and will consume venues, and pyrotechnics. The new Board will need time to gain momentum to plan the next ALL-School Reunion. And once a date is chosen, we will be sure to adverstise. But, be sure to check back, as we do plan on hosting smaller, TCS Alumni LTD sposonored events!
For classes that may be holding an individual reunion, please reach out if you need any assistance with classmate contact information, announcements etc. We are here to assist!

OCTOBER 2025:
The Alumni Association posts information here and on Facebook. Watch for upcoming announcements and encourage alumni to register here and keep their information updated. It's the best way for us to communicate!
Currently, the Association is very busy organizing a new board, handling logistics, and planning upcoming events, fundraisers and impromptu gatherings. We're not sitting idle.....we're busy behind the scenes so stay tuned!
