Bloodied but unbowed, I face the future with head and chest held proudly high. Along the way, I've picked up a couple of useful mottoes. "Challenge accepted" is one, and "You don't get slow because you get old, you get old because you get slow" is another.

One of my favorite moments happened in Mr. Riley's physics class. Floyd Folk showed up at the door with clackers (remember clackers?), and Mr. Riley made a disapproving comment. Floyd clacked 'em one more time, and then disappeared from the doorway. The exasperated look on Mr. Riley's face was just priceless!
